Vivo Energy has acquired Somagaz, which has been operating in Mayotte for over 27 years and is a key player in the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) market. Through its subsidiaries, Sigma SAS and SN Somagaz SAS, the company handles LPG supply, storage, bottling, and distribution to customers, including retail outlets and industrial clients. With a focus on adhering to French and European safety and environmental standards, Somagaz operates a significant logistics centre and filling facility in Longoni, boasting a 1,000-tonne capacity. Their mission revolves around ensuring the security and continuity of LPG supplies in Mayotte, meeting the region's growing demand.
