We are pleased to announce news that crowns our efforts and our commitment to social and environmental responsibility (CSR): Vivo Energy Senegal has just received the “Best ESG & Local Content Supplier Award” awarded by Endeavour Mining, during a ceremony held on November 28 in Abidjan to reward their best partner suppliers, during the 2024 edition of SIREXE. (International Exhibition of Extractive and Energy Resources which brings together a large number of companies from the energy and mining sectors).

This distinction was won thanks to our women's empowerment program called “Muso Late Sito”, (Autonomous Woman) an ambitious initiative deployed in the villages around the Sabodala mining site in southern Senegal.

This project enables women in the Sabodala community to benefit from training in the processing of agricultural products, thus strengthening their skills and their autonomy. The objective of this program is to create income-generating activities for them, improving their financial autonomy, thus contributing positively and sustainably to their community.

This award also rewards our involvement in local content and our ability to apply government policies.

For Vivo Energy, receiving this distinction is a testimony of recognition and respect in our sector. This positions our company as a model to follow by consolidating our image as a leader in the energy sector in Africa.

This collective success should motivate us to continue and intensify our efforts in CSR and in the development of our local content strategy. With this recognition, we have demonstrated our ability to innovate and excel: we must continue on this path for years to come
