Our Retail service station teams are all focused on supplying high-quality fuels, lubricants, food and convenience retail offerings at our network of over 3,900 Shell and Engen-branded service stations across Africa.

There are a multitude of jobs on offer across the many Shell and Engen-branded retail service stations in our network.

These include customer champions (our pump attendants who greet and serve motorists), oil specialists who advise on our lubricants, quality marshals, and shop customer service assistants.

These friendly and fun teams work together to ensure the best possible service for our customers, with the aim of ensuring that every customer leaves happy.

Service station teams are rewarded with great benefits, flexible shifts, competitive pay and the opportunity to grow and progress in the role.

Around 95% of Vivo Energy’s service stations are operated by independent local retailers. Roles across our service station network are managed by these retailers who advertise and fill vacancies locally.

Applicants who are successful in being offered service station roles are directly engaged by the relevant retailer and not Vivo Energy.

If you are looking to work in our service station network please contact the retailers directly, by enquiring at the relevant service station.

RECRUITMENT SCAMS

Take care to avoid fraudulent communications purporting to be on behalf of Vivo Energy or our Retail brands.

Recent fake job advertisements have been seen online that claim to be recruiting for roles at Vivo Energy, its Shell and Engen-branded service stations.

These scams solicit the transfer of money to pay for job application fees, work permits, insurance policies, etc.

Please note that neither Vivo Energy, nor its retailers, ever ask for money or payments from applicants at any point in the recruitment process.

These online communications requesting application payments are fraudulent. They do not originate from Vivo Energy, nor are they associated with our recruitment process.

We recommend that you do not respond to unsolicited offers from people with whom you are unfamiliar. Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know. If you receive such proposals, we would advise you to contact your local police and provide them with all information you may have from the senders (email addresses, phone details, etc.)
